Youth Power & Performance

Where young athletes level up

WHAT TO EXPECT
RSVP is required.

Youth Power Performance sessions are built around developing and testing Type II muscle fibers, the fast-twitch fibers responsible for speed, power, and explosive movement.

This is not random training. Athletes will participate in combine-style performance testing designed to create measurable data and establish a baseline for athletic development. We will also go through a scaled down version of a YPP training session.

Testing parameters may include:

  • 40-yard dash
  • Board jump
  • Change of direction and agility testing
  • Additional movement and performance assessments...

All movements are age-appropriate, coached, and supervised. The focus is on effort, proper mechanics, and safe execution.

Liability Waiver and Release

I understand that Youth Power and Performance (YPP) is a physical training program that includes, but is not limited to, running, sprinting, jumping, change of direction work, strength and power exercises, and other athletic drills that can place stress on muscles, joints, bones, and the cardiovascular system.

I acknowledge that participation in athletic activity carries inherent risks, including, but not limited to, muscle strains, sprains, joint injuries, falls, collisions, impact injuries, overuse injuries, and in rare cases more serious events such as heat illness or cardiac events. I understand that YPP coaches and staff will take reasonable steps to provide a safe training environment but cannot eliminate all risk.

In consideration of my child’s participation in YPP, I voluntarily assume all such risks on behalf of my child. I agree that Youth Power and Performance, its owners, coaches, staff, agents, and facility partners will not be held liable for any injury, accident, illness, or health issue that may occur during, or as a result of, normal training activities, except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

I agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Youth Power and Performance, its owners, coaches, staff, agents, and facility partners from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, damages, or liabilities arising out of or related to my child’s participation in the program, including reasonable attorney’s fees, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

I certify that I have disclosed any relevant medical conditions, limitations, or injuries in this form and that my child has permission from a parent or legal guardian to participate in athletic training. I understand that YPP does not provide medical advice and that it is my responsibility to seek clearance from a medical professional if I have any concerns about my child’s ability to safely participate.

I understand that YPP does not guarantee specific performance results, college scholarships, team placements, or playing time outcomes. Training is designed to improve athletic qualities, but results may vary by individual.

In the event of an emergency where I cannot be reached, I authorize YPP staff to seek or arrange emergency medical care for my child and I accept full responsibility for any associated costs. I confirm that I am financially responsible for my child’s medical care.
