This Is Not Your Average Summer Camp
The YPP Summer Speed Academy is a week to week summer training experience for athletes ages 10 to 14 who want more than a regular camp. This is not babysitting and it is not random games. We focus on speed mechanics, explosiveness, coordination, agility, conditioning, and true athletic development in a structured environment.
Outdoor Training Location
All Summer Speed Academy sessions are held outdoors at Seven Oaks Clubhouse, 2910 Sports Core Circle, Wesley Chapel, FL 33544, in the playground area next to the soccer fields.
Outdoor Training and Heat Management
Although Summer Speed Academy is held outdoors, athlete safety and recovery are a major priority. We will have shade tents, cooling fans, misters, and designated cooldown areas available throughout training to help athletes stay cool during the Florida summer heat.
There will also be scheduled water breaks built into every training day. Athletes should bring their own water bottle each day, and we will also have water available onsite.
We are intentionally creating an environment where athletes can train hard while also having opportunities to cool down, recover, and stay safe throughout the morning.
To keep the training environment focused and high quality, the YPP Summer Speed Academy is only accepting 15 dedicated and serious athletes per week.
This is intentionally limited so each athlete gets a more structured, purposeful, and higher level training experience. If a week fills, registration for that week will close. Serious athletes only.
Training Days and Times:
Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays 9am-12pm
The YPP Summer Speed Academy runs week to week for 5 total weeks from June 8 through July 10. Families can register for one week or multiple weeks based on what works best for their schedule.
